We are delighted to publish this updated 2021 Confirmation Schedule and look forward to celebrating this important sacrament with those who have enrolled to do so. Covid-19 has brought with it significant changes to the scheduling of the sacrament of confirmation and to the manner in which it is celebrated. These include:
- From early September 2021 those to be confirmed will be asked to take part in three on-line preparation sessions (full details will follow nearer the time)
- Due to the need for social distancing more confirmation ceremonies are necessary and numbers attending each ceremony will need to be limited
- Adequate time is needed between ceremonies for churches to be sanitised
- Participation in the ceremony will be modified to adhere to health and safety regulations
- Photography before and afterwards is limited to members of a household only
Please be advised that while we will do our utmost to adhere to this schedule, however changing health advice means that it may be necessary to make changes to this schedule at short notice.
